Kamal Ibrahim

Founder & Executive Producer

Kamal has been working in the film & television industry for almost 10 years, beginning his career as a presenter and entertainment correspondent for RTE. Over the course of his TV career Kamal has presented over 100 hours of content to audiences across America, UK, Ireland, Asia, Africa and Australia with broadcasters including RTE, TV3, BBC, Channel 5, ABC, E! and the TVC network. His work on RTE includes ‘Two for The Road’ (2011), ‘In Your Shoes’ (2012) and ‘Miss Nigeria Ireland & Me’ (2016) which he also co-produced.

Parallel to his presenting career Kamal has also been working in production for the last 8 years beginning as an editor where he created videos as part of a world tour in 2010. His filmography to date includes ‘SOUTH’ (2016) and ‘RELEASE’ (2017) where he worked as production manager and editor. ‘If Only’ (2017), his hugely successful short film which he wrote, directed & produced was released for Suicide Prevention Day 2017. Kamal has created 50+ hours of content across film, documentary and corporate video productions and is also the Founder and Executive Producer of Reelscreen.

Grace Cotter Reelscreen

Grace Cotter

Editor, Scriptwriter & Producer

Writer, producer and editor Grace began her career working as a segment producer and camera operator for the Australian production company Project 628 before returning to Ireland as the Head of Production for Frockadvisor with Brendan Courtney and Sonya Lennon. To date Grace has worked with a variety of brands including Universal Pictures, Lancome, TV3, RTÉ, Nivea, Virgin Media, Mercedes Benz, and London Fashion week… the list goes on. She has produced and edited two feature films “Shoebox Memories” (2015) and “June” (2017) including numerous shorts. Though a competent producer, Grace focuses more on writing and editing and is working with some of the best productions in Ireland and the UK while also currently writing a TV series based on her beloved hometown of Monaghan. Her technical skills in post-production range from Avid, Premiere Pro and Final Cut X to Davinci Resolve and Adobe Audition and we’re delighted to have her as part of the team.

Gary Boyd Reelscreen

Gary Boyd

Writer, Director & Cinematographer

Gary is writer/director and cinematographer with strong editing skills and is part of the original Reelscreen Team. Gary has completed degrees in both Art & Design and Film & Television and directed his first feature documentary during his 1st year of film college which went on to be screened in the Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin and FAMU film school in Prague. He has also screened a number of short fictional pieces in Budapest, Slovenia, Northern Ireland and Germany, which received incredible receptions. His most recent award was winning the Fulbright Video Engage Competition, where he traveled to around Ireland and New York to create a film based on the past participants of Fulbright.

Gary is also part of the core creative team at Reelscreen and helps drive our constant out-of-the-box concepts.

Sarah Hall

Key Account & Production Manager

Sarah studied Drama and English at UCD and found her love for production management through being involved in the UCD Community Musical since its inception in 2007 as stage crew, stage manager and assistant production manager and production manager. Sarah has since managed many productions including the Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables, Annie and Cats along with production roles for Classic Stage Ireland, RTE and Neill Jordan’s Byzantium alongside Saoirse Ronan.

She also works extensively as an Event Production and Marketing Manager managing large scale events, media campaigns and projects for Clients such as Diageo, AMEX, eir and Bord Bia while working on festivals and events such as Electric Picnic, Longitude, BST Hyde Park in London, the Dublin Tech Summit and many more.

Sarah is presently studying for a Bsc in Business Management encompassing Marketing, Communications and Strategy Planning and is the Key Account Manager for Reelscreen.

Jason Branagan

Writer & Director

Jason is an award-winning filmmaker. As a writer and director his films have screened at festivals around the world and his writing has been acknowledged by some of the most prestigious screenwriting competitions in the world including the Austin Film Festival and Nicholls Fellowship. He has directed content for some of the world's biggest brands and was the first filmmaker Google hired in Europe as part of their Director on Site initiative, directing ads for YouTube in London. Currently based on Dublin he regularly directs TV commercials for non-profits. With a wealth of experience ranging from theatre to feature films, music videos to big brands, documentaries to NGOs his focus is always on honest, emotional storytelling that packs a punch.
